You may be aware Nature’s Domain Salmon Meal & Sweet Potato Formula has been voluntarily recalled. Even though no samples of Nature’s Domain have tested positive for salmonella, we have voluntarily recalled certain batches of Salmon Meal & Sweet Potato Formula from Costco warehouses as a precautionary measure. We are acting out of concern for the health and safety of our customers and their pets.
- Kirkland Signature Nature’s Domain Salmon Meal & Sweet Potato Formula for Dogs (BB dates: December 9, 2012 through January 31, 2013)
To determine if their pet food is recalled, consumers should check the production codes on the back of bags must have both a number “3” in the 9th position AND an “X” in the 11th position. The best-before dates for the recalled brands listed are December 9, 2012 through January 31, 2013.
The recall affects only products distributed in the following U.S. states, Puerto Rico and Canada.

If your product DOES NOT match the information above, you may safely continue to feed it to your pet.
